(Resident Physiotherapist, DPT)

Soumya is a dedicated physiotherapist with over six years of experience in enhancing patient mobility and well-being. She holds a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Manipal University in India and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in the US.

Her professional experience includes working as an outpatient physiotherapist with Northwestern Medicine in the US, where she honed her skills in evidence-based practices involving soft tissue release, patient education, and therapeutic exercises.

Soumya’s passion for neurological rehabilitation has made her an invaluable resource for patients with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and brain injury. Her dedication extends beyond clinical practice, as evidenced by her extensive contributions to physiotherapy research and her role as an invited panelist for Parkinson’s Foundation community education seminars.

Driven by a belief in community, inclusivity, and wellness advocacy, Soumya has taken her passion for neurological care beyond the clinic walls. She co-founded a student organization promoting health awareness and equity, showcasing her commitment to health promotion and prevention.

This holistic approach to neurological care, combining clinical expertise with community engagement, exemplifies Soumya’s comprehensive vision for improving the lives of those affected by neurological conditions.

When not in the clinic, Soumya enjoys hiking, reading, and exploring quaint towns, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her practice.
